Kerrigan was off in the back after class today, doing something to one of the other bedrooms. She wasn't expecting any intrusions today, but she was on her guard.

Gladys knocked. She was seven foot plus tall and three foot plus wide of near indestructible clay (in a blue and white dress) so it was quite loud.

It was a good thing Kerrigan was trained not to jump at sudden noises, or she might have torn some of the newly-installed circuitry from the walls. Instead, she put the board down quietly, pulling a gun out of her thigh holster, and walking towards the door.

She pulled the door open slightly. Then paused. And stared.

Gladys didn't react beyond a slight flaring of her eyes. "You Are An Adult On The Island?"

GOB looked out towards town and saw Gladys approaching. He thought she looked kind of like a woman that he had slept with once to get back at Michael for something somehow and he panicked. He ran to his bedroom, grabbed a snorkel, and put it on as he ran back up onto the deck and dove over the railing and into the water.

This was not the first time in his life that he had done this to hide from a woman he thought he slept with.

Gladys pondered this for a moment. Or at least she stood still, looking at the water. Then she took her mail bag off, put it down, and stepped off the dock into the water, invitation in hand.

She was a golem, so she sank like a stone, then started to walk along the bottom after Bluth.

Deliver, she'd been told, so deliver she would.

There was a knock on the church door. When Gabriel opened he stood face to face with a golem. About to insult the walking claypot who had interrupted his nap, he remembered where he had seen the creature before. The Post Office. "Mail delivery?" he asked.

Could it really be? Had He really replied? A letter from God. It wasn't like they were common.

"I Have An Invitation. You Are An Adult On The Island. It Must be Delivered." She held it out.

"An invitation? From God?" He kind of missed the part of an 'adult on the island'.

Gladys didn't look confused, because golems never did. She did, however, look down at the invitation, then back at Gabriel. "I Do Not Know Who It Is From. It Was Not Specified."

Mary looked up and smiled when she saw Gladys.

Gladys looked at her impassivley, then reached into her bag and pulled out an invitation. "An Invitation. For All Adults On The Island."

"Oooh, that's definitely me!" said Mary, taking the application. A party? Terrific!

Gladys stood for a moment, then turned and made her ponderous way back out into the streets of Fandom.
