Heh, very cute! Great use of the first person voice here for Lupin. I also like how you've characterized James here--in a way, he is the Marauder we know the least about, but you bring him vividly to life here. Well done!

You're right actually, what we know about James is what other people say in the books... somehow or other, I've developed a fondness for him, though! There's something endearing about arrogant twerps, I suppose. ;)

One of the first bits I've seen of the Marauders actually in first person... It was interesting. Nice.

Woohoo! I was worried that the humour would die a sad death by going the way of overdone/trying too hard/being too lame, so thank you for the kind comments. :)

Interestingly, I never knew First Person MWPP fic could possibly be done well- but a_t_rain actually inspired me in that sense as well, because she's got a few lovely humour fics narrated by Remus (I've linked to one in my author notes).

I have to say, loved it. Especially with James' prank, perfect. I'm a huge fan of MWPP myself but I have to say you did an excellent job with portraying their characters.

Some parts were a bit confusing as to who was speaking, but other than that, very nicely written. Your words in context made it clear what you were saying, but gave it a more eloquent touch

Thank you! The biggest hurdle to writing this story was the prank, so I'm glad it's worthy of our dear James Potter (the Prank King, I should say! ;)). I stopped publishing fic online about two years ago to improve my skills, so I'm glad I've progressed to producing somewhat readable material. :D

And since I'm assuming you're Kiara- I was hooked onto "The Ties That Bind", so I'm terribly relieved that you liked this. :)

I think I see which parts might have been confusing, so I've altered those slightly to make it clearer. Thanks for pointing that out! :)
