Me: Should we turn off the lights for better ambience...or should I say, zombience!
Everyone else: {canned and insincere laughter}

I should have written for Seinfeld. Or more likely the Jim Belushi Show.

Actually, this seems like the perfect line for an episode of House, MD in which Dr. House would come up with a brilliant and witty comment of the idiocracy in that statement...but of course, not in an evil mean way, but in a lovable, heavily ironic/cynical way...
