Oh my god, way to be an awesome dude, Josh. Though, if Julianne Moore can come back to ATWT, there is no reason that every actor who's asked can't come back for a one day cameo. Yes, this is unreasonable. I don't care.
LEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I have no intention of tuning back into AMC except for this day, so people need to tell me when it's going to happen.
John/Aeryn is an excellent choice for that question. They are among the most perfect love stories I've ever seen told. And well, this is still among my top five declarations of all time:
Such a classy move. Especially since I think he was the first one to publicly say he wanted to come back. I always support actors who remember their roots.
Also, he's very pretty. Why yes, I am that shallow.
PLEASE AMC, GIVE ME MY GREENLEO BACK AS ENDGAME AS THE SHOW ENDS. PLEASE.
Also I love everything about your answers here. Feel free to ask my questions! I'm such a bad LJ friend of late!
the Robin/Stone/AIDS storyline
Still my favorite soap storyline, if not one of my favorite TV storylines, period. That s/l impacted my young teen life so much. And yes talk about getting me invested in these characters in a way TV shows just have not done in a very long time.
Emotions that cross generations. What other entertainment or artisitc medium can do that?
Exactly! Now I'm tearing up just thinking about it. Saying goodbye to these soaps with my mom and sister are going to be so hard.
John Crichton/Aeryn Sun from Farscape. It was the episode "The Locket" that sealed it for me. This is a love that spans galaxies, time, and empires, and one that not even death can defeat.
YESSSSS. Love them so much.

ISN'T THIS FABULOUS NEWS? And did you also see that Garin Wolf asked Jax to come back AFTER Guza had written him off because he didn't think Jax's storyline was wrapped up well? How is it possible that our soaps getting canceled is the best thing that's happened to them in years?
YES, the AIDS s/l completely altered the course of my life. First time I really knew what was out there in the world, and I KNOW it influenced the things I've studies and areas I've worked in. One more reason soap operas are a GOOD THING.
Oh man, it's going to be rough saying goodbye to these soaps. My mom, sister and I all watch OLTL. Hell, even my dad remembers GH's 80s stories (granted, he asked if GH was "the one with the alien" but still! He remembers the CASEY s/l!). No other genre is cross-generational like this.
I adore JD for this. And he's been saying, pretty much since the cancellations were announced, that he would like to come back. Total class act, and it makes me want to support his career. Even if that means seeing Transformers 3.
OMG DO YOU LISTEN TO DELTA TOO??? I have not met ANYONE in the States who listens to her. I adore her. Actually, the more I think about it, if I do listen to music while writing, it's usually her albums.
My cause makes me ragey. And long-winded, lol.
Yay, questions! Here you go:
1. What is your favorite never-happened-but-what-if ship on GH? 2. What's your dream vacation? A trip around the world? Time to explore one spot in depth? 3. If you could run your own restaurant, what would it be like? 4. Single favorite TV episode of all time. 5. How are you writing your Het BB? Lots of pre-planning and outlining, or are you just going where the story takes you?
Questions will be answered tomorrow! I am keeping this round of meme up for as long as I possibly can! (And some of those will require lots of thought, HELLO QUESTION #4!!!)

"Do you love Aeryn Sun?" "Beyond hope."

But man, if he only comes back as a ghost to give Greenlee/Ryan his blessing, I will kick a puppy.
Hee! You know I don't fall for love stories easily, but MAN, John/Aeryn just slays me. EVERY DAMN TIME. Love them so much.

MAN, THOSE TWO ARE WRETCHED TOGETHER. I WILL ADOPT A PUPPY IF LEO SHOWS UP AT THEIR WEDDING, ALIVE, AND GREENLEE RUNS OFF WITH HIM.
So, universe, those are your choices: I will kick a puppy or adopt a puppy. Your move, universe.

JD is a very classy guy for doing this. Me likes. :)
I'll tune in for that cuz I'm curious as to how they'll right him in.

Oh, he is so freakin' awesome. I REALLY hope he's a ghost. I don't need his memory to be shat on.
DELTA AND BRIAN!!!! LOVE YOU SO MUCH ALREADY BUT SO MUCH MORE FOR SAYING THIS!!!
Hey, Stone Cates was a powerful story, and I think he's in the Top 10's of most longtime fans.
And I love your charity cause, it's absolutely true, the idea that children need to be taught before it's 'too late'.
