it wasn't a dream this time (please don't go)

I...Wow.

To say the last week has been a bad one for soap fans is putting it pretty mildly. Between the casting news and today's announcement, this is a hell of a way to ring in Thanksgiving.

Other people have expressed it better than I could, so I'll only add that even if you don't watch it regularly, today's One Life to Live was proof that soap ( Read more... )

He can't be dead. He just can't. In that way? Nooooo.

As for Robin/KMc, while it's not entirely clear if GH will do the unthinkable, I've read one fic already and burst into the ugly cry.

They must not go there with Robin. THEY CAN'T!

Don't get me wrong, it was incredibly well done (the whole ep, really, not just the ending), but NOT WHAT WE NEEDED yesterday of all days.

I reuse to even consider the horrific exit story GH will come up with for her. One thing I give Guza credit for is at least letting her leave the first time alive and not in a body bag. I'm not nearly so confident about the current regime's plans, so I DO NOT THINK ABOUT IT.

IF THEY GO THERE WITH ROBIN, I WILL KICK PUPPIES. AND ALSO CRY A LOT.

Ugh, they killed Matthew? WHY?

I don't want to pretend that fans were owed the continuation online, but we deserved better endings than we got/are going to get considering we were promised they'd continued. I hope no one jerks GH around that way.

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I guess, since the rest of the tv eps had already been filmed before yesterday's announcement, EA must not have signed on. That's the only reason I can think of, other than that it made gut-wrenching soap. But we all know ABC doesn't care about making good soap, so that can't be it (OMG OLTL IS SUCH GOOD SOAP!).

No, we weren't owed anything. But I do think we deserved some sort of "thank you" for 40+ years of viewership in the face of changing times, technologies, and tastes. Seriously, I am prepared to go Farscape on their asses and join a financing campaign to at least get a tv movie wrap-up to the stories.

Sweetie! I can't believe that One Life is over, it all came to an end too soon. And it just saddens me that GH is heading for the same downward spiral especially with all the latest news.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope you have a great weekend :)

Hi you!!! *hugs*

Knowing now that OLTL is actually ENDING, and that they'd already filmed their final episode before the news was announced, is killing me. I don't even want to talk about GH's downward spiral. There's no way they can justify keeping it on, even if one of the reality shows tanks, when they cancelled a show with better ratings and more critical and fan support (OLTL FOREVER!).

Thanks! Take advantage of shopping deals this weekend! It's the right thing to do, lol.
