My top three picks at the moment (because I love this whole fic SO STOP FREAKING OUT): the phone conversation between Artemis and Dick (or that whole scene at the drive-thru); something from the Ollie/Dinah visit, or the floating scene with Wally's home bedroom at the end.
I would steer clear of anything in Seattle until you figure out what you're doing with that sequence.
Oh! Or when they break into the track! Or the visit to the candy factory! I LOVE IT ALL, DON'T ASK ME TO CHOOSE.
THIS IS NOT HELPFUL. But yeah, I keep cycling back to the phone call or the bedroom scene. But the phone call feels like cheating since it's not actually a Wally/Artemis scene, even though it contains my single favorite line of the entire fic. I HATE MAKING DECISIONS. BUT YAY, THEY'RE OUT OF SEATTLE. BE HAPPY.
And you know I agree with a lot of your YJ feelings. All of them, really. I've successfully lowered my expectations enough that I'm enjoy the bits that I'm enjoying and still side-eying the plot like woah (WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO START MAKING SENSE, IT DOESN'T COUNT IF YOU TIE ALL OF IT TOGETHER IN THE LAST EPISODE), but really, all I want are the relationship exploits of the Crock-Nguyen sisters. NO PANTS FOREVER. And Lian is precious.
And and, GIVING ME DICK/ZATANNA MAKEOUTS WOULD MAKE ME FORGIVE A LOT OF THE OTHER STUFF TOO GREG, I AM JUST SAYING.
I'M SORRY, BUT I LOVE IT ALL. Hey, it's not cheating. Their breakup affected their friends, too, so having a scene that discusses the relationship but isn't necessarily between the two people in the relationship is necessary, even expected.
YAY FOR BEING OUT OF SEATTLE. I WILL READ THEIR EXIT TONIGHT. YOU'D THINK I'D BE OVER MY SEATTLE ISSUES BY NOW, AND YET.
Seriously! When I start drawing comparisons to DBZ plotlines, you know things are going off the rails. But I honestly think this s/l should have opened the new season and served as a bridge to all the new stuff. the Crock-Nguyen sisters need a spinoff where they kick ass in between dates.
DICK/ZATANNA MAKEOUTS WOULD SOLVE WORLD PEACE, I'M PRETTY SURE.
