My mom gave me a long lecture this morning about how the whole family thinks I have the most gifts, and am the most talented, and has the ability to go really really far in life. Therefore, I have also been the biggest disappointment to them... Uh... yeah. Great.

What are the expecting you to do? Magically get a book/play/screenplay sold lickedy split? Or be a major movie star by now, or have wasted your life sitting in some stupid cubicle trying to sell stocks and bonds. I mean You are doing a lot with what you have man, You just haven't caught your break yet. You're working your ass off. What more do they want? It's not like your sitting around on your thumb. Are your parents the type that had some ideal job in mind for you, without even asking if you wanted to do that?
