For those not on Faceplant who missed my picture posting, I am back from Ireland and Scotland.
I will put some pictures up here when I have time to do so.
Loved every minute of the holiday and I am ready to go back.
Ireland was a complete surprise. I really, Really, REALLY loved it there!

Can you recommend any good pubs? Where all did you go?

We flew into Dublin, drove down to Kenmare in County Kerry. In Dublin we stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel in the Temple Bar district. There are a TON of pubs there! In Kenmare we stayed at a B&B right on the main street and there was no end of great pubs.
We are already planning a trip back and just tour Ireland.

My semi-step daughter (the girl of a friend of my wife and I who passed away a couple of years ago) went to Ireland a last year and she had some awesome pictures to show us. The highlight of her trip she went to Isle of Anglesey (known to some of us as Ynys Môn or Inis Mona) and she took a picture of, I think a train or ferry station sign with the longest city name in the world of Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch. She said it meant something like "the red church by the blue lake over the hills" or something of the like. Standing about 50' away from the building it took 3 or 4 frames with her camera to get the entire sign covered.

Sounds like that you had a blast. Sorry that you have to come back to the real world.
