I hope you get to see the Magic Flute. That would be really awesome! I also hope the jetlag is getting better. I know it's terrible! :( I really glad that your host family like your flute. You play so beautifully I can't imagine why they won't like it. This "Eis Schokolade" sounds very good to me, especially with my interest in chocolate! I hope your having a wonderful time and I want you to know I think about you often. :)

Hello! How are you doing? Has the job searching been fruitful as yet? If not, good luck! You would definitely like the Eis Schokolade- too bad I can't bring any back for you. They're called cold cuts, Christine... :-p And probably roast beef, or turkey, or salami, or some such for the "other meats," right?

Glad you liked the suggestion, though :-p

And, top of the list when you get back, I think, is to find a really good local bakery/pastry shop. You'll be missing those sorts of things when you get back. And I have been for a few years.
