Thor/Loki, Brother Issuesyami_no_kaibaMay 24 2011, 20:23:16 UTC
I really, really want some Loki-thoughts on what the word 'brother' means to him versus Thor. Because Loki has only one brother (Thor), while Thor has called dozens or hundreds of people 'brother'.

You're right and I'm not counting those other thousands and thousands of kids his mother has had, but Thor uses that word for someone he feels deep kinship for. He has used it with Steve, Tony, and The Avengers, Hercules, Balder (who is his half-brother), and most importantly Beta Ray Bill (who is probably Thor's BFF and the one being he uses that word with the most aside from Loki).

I think Thor just has the ability to bond with other people really easily, which probably must be really rage-worthy for Loki.
