Also, I love Gabriel's bare feet, and how you managed to make Loki look young and vulnerable. The shadows of Gabriel's wings are just *neat* (and indicative of his status as Chief of the Cherubim?). Gabriel's just so much *vaster* than Loki in this -- he's ancient in ways that Loki really isn't, and he's already gone through all the family drama that Loki's just gotten started with. It's really lovely.

Loki does look a bit like Cas there. Is Gabriel thinking of him, or Lucifer when he says Loki reminds him of someone? I notice Loki's hair gets neater the longer he talks to Gabriel -- neater hair = better mental state?

I'm imagining them telling each other stories to the pass the time.

In my head he's talking about Cas since they're both so much younger than he is and kinda got lost in the grand scheme of things. There's a ton of stuff I didn;t have time to add, like Loki asking Gabe if he believed they were slaves to fate and Gabe thinking it was the funniest thing ever in a very sad way.
They're so alike, you know? Family issues, the Trickster thing (and how really they were both very different things before and after they were Tricksters)
:/ Wish I had had more time. If things slow down at work I may just come back to this and do more XD

Ouch -- that would have been wonderful and sad, because they both kind of are, in their respective universes.

Have you thought of cross-posting this to spn_gabriel? It would fit right in there, and it's so gorgeous, more people should get to see it.

OMC! This is so beautiful and one of the best fills on the meme. And I say this as someone who isn't a Supernatural fan. I am deeply impressed by the writing and artistic creativity going on here. Thank you for the fill! :)
