Just to say it again, no decision has been made one way or the other. We just would like to know what people are thinking.

If it will help with the spam and make it easier to moderate, I'm for it. Is there any way to filter out prompts, there are a couple of them that I've been having

The reason the spam got so out of hand wasn't really a problem with livejournal itself. It was that there was no one here to do anything about it. Now that there are people actively overseeing the community, it shouldn't ever get like that again. I'm brand new to dreamwidth so I can't say yet if spam is an issue over there or not.

Unfortunately, neither livejournal nor dreamwidth have any means of filtering content. What is it that you've been having trouble with?

I would say yes for migrating to dreamwidth, just hoping everything might be able to transfer there?

Everything currently on livejournal is on dreamwidth, with the exception of the fills that people posted to their own personal journal, not the kinkmeme itself. (Some pictures that were in various posts also didn't migrate over and neither did individual user icons but the important stuff is all there.) The only hitch is, all the posts are exact copies, so the links on the dreamwidth fill list will send you back here. If you want to read the fill on dreamwidth you can, but first you have to do a bit of digging ( ... )
