Loki/Thor, Wrong Number

Loki is (somehow) mortally injured by the latest Supernatural Monster of the Day, and (for some reason) decides to call 911 instead of just dealing with it himself.
...Except he has several SHIELD members on speed dial! THOR TO THE RESCUE.
Bonus points if it's Tony Stark he calls on accident.

May I just say how much I enjoyed reading this whole thing? It was so ... well written, and funny - although with an undertone that made my heart bleed for everyone involved. To be alone can be a blessing and something wonderful, but to be lonely is another thing entirely. And sadly, there are too many lonely people in the world. I feel for Steve in this, who's in a wrong age and trying to catch up. I feel for Loki, who probably doesn't have many people to call when he wants to just talk. I feel for Thor, who misses his brother. And I think that these three should just ... go out to a restaurant (that one mentioned in the beginning, maybe?) and just ... hang out, for a while. Loki could teach the other two more about Earth technology (he seems to have learned it pretty quickly), and they could just ... BE. I think they'd all need it, and have a good time
( ... )

" But Thor, he has noticed, is not the kind of man who takes that sort of thing personally. Even when Loki starts shouting about how he very personally he hates Thor on a personal level, directly relating to Thor’s person."
My favorite line of my absolute favorite fill. Incredible work. Just brilliant!

Anon, that was brilliant and hilarious. I love Steve's misunderstandings, and Loki latching on to him as a sort-of friend, and how jealous Thor is, even while they're trying to kill each other. <3

I just read this and I have to say how much I enjoyed it because I can't wipe this silly grin off my face!
This is brilliant and charming and laugh-out-loud funny (Loki's texts. and Steve sending the first to be decoded). I could relate to Steve getting stuck in the middle of relying messages and Thor's jealousy was played out so well. I honestly thought that would be the end of Loki and Steve's friendship after that and was sad, but I loved the ending and how Loki's message is completely about Steve/Captain America and we see how it is a real friendship-of-sorts between them and not just Steve being reminiscent of Thor.

so much fun it made me run late. I will be giggling through a harrowing drive though, so thank you! I love all of this, but I particularly love the stuff they come up against, the giant ants and animated warriors and ice sculpture/center pieces coming to life and how they're just so non-chalant about all of it.

This was such a good story! I loved your interpretation of the Loki/Thor dynamic and, of course, your Captain America characterization was fantastic! Please let me know who you are so I can read your other stories! And if you don't have other stories, shame on you, because your writing is FANTASTIC.

Magneto? With the red helmet & poor obsession with mutants world domination? As much as I love the guy, he would be terrible company for Loki I think XD

“We did not think the horse would actually catch him,” he says. absolutely killed me.
That suggests Loki's pregnancy is actually the result of a prank and damn, I'm totally prompting that now x)
Anyway, thank you for this lovely piece of amazing <3
