I. The first time Loki holds his hand, Thor is three and Loki is just a baby. He is small but strong, and his little fingers wrap around one of Thor’s hard and tight enough to almost hurt. Thor doesn’t tell Mother this, though, because he doesn’t want Mother to think he’s small and weak.
Instead, he suffers the indignity quietly, a smile on his face as he faces Father’s court and Father announces that Loki is their new prince. He is too young to understand the glances the courtiers exchange, and he is too young to understand the meaning behind the whispers. When Mother tenses beside him, he presses closer to her and grins. Her smile is quick and fleeting, and he wonders why she doesn’t really smile, like she does when they’re alone

I feel like I need to write some straight up crack to make up for the pain I cause all of you lovely people D8 BUT I'M GLAD THE PAIN IS A GOOD KIND OF PAIN. I think.

I am an angst-monster when it comes to fills, so I immediately liked this, but the way you portrayed their relationship, with the sadness and hate fused so completely with their love for one another made me fall in love with it. A fantastic fill my Drop Dead Diva friend!

Oh god I can't stop the tears from falling. ;___;
But on the bright side, at least Thor held back onto Loki in the end. For a minute there I almost thought he would walk away without a word, and that might have killed me.

I will forever love this angst. This was so freaking perfect and well done. I loved it. The ones where they are little kids were to cute, so cute it hurt my lady parts. I love them as kids all buddy buddy and friends and the best brothers ever. > w < I love broken Thor/Loki too, them older and so full of hurt. UGUU! Why is this so amazing. ALL my LOVE. ALL MY LOVE . . .
