It was totally inevitable when it happened. There are already three different novels and a comic book series about the wartime adventures of Captain America, and Thor is literally straight out of a storybook. Half the things the tabloids write about Tony Stark, they should have just marketed as shameless fiction in the first place. And, really. Darcy chews her fingernails ragged for three days. Every time someone knocks something over in the office or the lab, she jumps, and finds herself unconsciously hiding from cars on the street. But she doesn’t hear a word from Loki, or not anything that she can actually be sure is Loki. And if the things her paranoid mind is identifying as Loki are actually Loki, she has to admit that trying to sell her Cialis on her blog is a pretty lame revenge.

Maybe she got away with it? She did post anonymously. Maybe he didn’t know it was her.

...and maybe pigs could fly over the double rainbow to Sparklyland. As the days go by with no sign of him, though, Darcy begins to wonder if Loki’s idea of revenge is to give her hypertension. Heart disease is much better than spam email.

And being forced to listen to Clint bitch about having to walk her home because she’s now too paranoid to get in the car, that’s a pretty epic revenge, too. Loki is good at this stuff
