...yes, this is utter crack. I have no little shame. Here is the thought process:

Samuel L Jackson = Snakes on a (Motherfucking) Plane

Samuel L Jackson = Nick Fury

SLJ + SoaP + Fury = Fury's true form is a snake and that snake is the World Serpant. Also known as Jormungandr. Also known as Loki's darling kid.

Go with that where you will, lovely anons. Because I have no idea what my brain is doing.

YOU GUYS ARE SO AWESOME YOU MADE ME WANT TO FILL MY OWN PROMPT. Though this is more Fenrir!Coulson really.Clint's been in quite a few dire situations during the course of his life. There was the thirty-foot-tall Doombot that had just missed stepping on him by a couple feet; the rogue SHIELD agent that he and Tasha had hunted down who had almost blown them both up; the rather unhinged Norse god who had a tendency to play cat-and-mouse that usually involved some form of new and unusual creature from one of the other nine worlds. Near-death experiences were written into the SHIELD contract, a few lines under the nondisclosure clause and the checkbox agreeing to allow the medical team to cut you open and examine you when you died. (It was, in fact, phrased as 'when ( ... )

"You have not," Loki corrects as he lifts another chunk off him. "Hela wouldn't let you in, anyway. She's always thought Fenrir needed to find someone to settle down with."

"But I-"

And then everything in Clint's world flips as Fenrir's form shimmers and shifts, shrinking down into the shape of a man that Clint is intimately acquainted with.

"Did you really think I would have left him to die?" Phil snaps, the wolf still present in the curl of his lips over his teeth, the snarl in his voice. "I don't care if Odin himself knows where we are now. And don't even try to tell me you wouldn't do the same for Natasha, Jormungandr. Don't you dare"Are you positive I'm not dead?" Clint asks Loki plaintively. The god smiles in a way that is clearly supposed to be comforting but just freaks Clint out. He lifts the largest and last piece of concrete off and Clint has to choke off a scream, then, a strangled sob torn from his throat as the compression ( ... )
