[Gen/Crossover] Loki & Rumplestiltskin Like To Hang Out [Once Upon A Time]

SPOILERS for this show. Please do not proceed unless you've seen the show. Spoilers for the episodes that aired will be here.

So joined together by both being agents of chaos, tricking people into uneven deals, and just trying to obtain power over people; Loki and Rumplestiltskin like to get together every so often for a bit of fun. At others people's expense of course.

Exactly how much chaos these two can cause is what I'd like to find out. Go crazy here.

If you do a The OUAT post-curse version then Mr. Gold remembers his life as Rumplestiltskin and loves having that knowledge while no one else does. Some commentary on how Prince Charming and Fandral resemble each other would be appreciated. Alot.

Bonus: Loki understands Rumplestiltskin's baby thieving ways because if you agree to give up your child so easily than you don't deserve to have them. At least by his thought process.

Loki crouched on the building ledge high above New York. He grinned to himself as he watched the mortals scurry about below him. He felt the air around him twist and his wards flared with the influx of magic as a gentlemen holding a cane and dressed in an expensive suit materialized into mid-air next to him. The other man brushed some imagined wrinkle from the French silk shirt and joined Loki on the edge of the building. He sat on the edge and swung his legs in the air as if they were a few feet from the ground and not 107 stories high

Before he was able to move fully away, the Trickster lashed out and wrapped his hand around Gold’s throat. He gurgled in surprise. His magic danced along his skin, but was no match for the God. Loki lifted him up so his feet kicked uselessly in open air. He then brought their faces together so they were inches apart. “I shall ask you this once. Where. Is. Fandral?” Loki loosened his grip slightly. Gold wheezed. “I’m sure I don’t know what you mean---agh!” Loki’s hand had started to turn blue and Gold resumed his struggles. “Ok! Ok! Maine! He’s in Story Brooke, Maine.” Loki grinned and Gold felt a chill in his bones that had nothing to do with the coldness of the hand around his neck.

Loki marched over and held Gold out over the edge. He muttered a spell under his breath and Gold felt his magic leech away. He started too truly panic. Loki couldn’t bind his powers for more than a few minutes, but he could temporarily block his connection to magic. “I spent some time reading the fine print of that contract that I signed. I'm terrible at faces, so I had no idea that the actor who played Fandral was in OUAT). I love the plot here. It's just so clever! It's a bit sad that Loki is apparently so in love with Fandral that he'd go to these lengths, but mostly its deeply disturbing. I'd love to find out what happens when the spell fails actually.

I love this so much! The small details with the apple, the dark curse, and just everything made this enchanting to read. (OK bad pun but I had to do it.)

I love how you built this from elements of yesterday's episode. And I just love the feeling of history you get between them and how their respective natures work against them. Especially poor Mr.Gold.

Unfortunately while the deal may end with Gold's death, Fandral will still not love Loki at the end. Add in not just Snow as his wife but a child and grandchild...I shudder to think what Loki will do with that knowledge.

In short I loved this and it was a joy to read.

Its my head cannon that once Loki sees Fandral and gets rejected, he becomes truly unhinged, which leads us to the world ruling Loki of the Avengers. Because lets face it, Hel hath no Fury like a Loki scorned.
