Steve/Loki Moonrise Kingdom AU queen_subtle February 21 2012, 02:27:33 UTC
So, the trailer for this movie has been freaking me out for weeks now, and I'd love to see an AU with this.

Could be just like the movie where they're twelve, or it could be that they're of drafting age and running away from bootcamp or something before they go off to war.

Sorry if the writing style is weird. (There is, however, no forgiving my abuse of punctuation.) I was trying to echo the same dreamy quality of the trailer! :DSpring at an elementary school: rooms plastered in rainbow paintings; the alphabet strung above chalkboards; books stacked in precarious piles; paper chains, a model of the solar system, desks arranged in a grid ( ... )

Pepper Potts the Principal, the big guy, and the red-haired lady look upon it: they can only press forward, following bits of prism-pigmented glitter that has clung to Steve for a decade, unintentionally brushed onto leaves as he moved past them the day before. On the other side of the meadow: a cobalt-blue lake, a tent now abandoned, a shredded sliver of linen on the shore ( ... )

Spring at an elementary school: rooms plastered in rainbow paintings; the alphabet strung above chalkboards; books stacked in precarious piles; paper chains, a model of the solar system, desks arranged in a grid.

At one end of the hallway: the auditorium; at the other end: the sunshine-scented library, where Steve spends each afternoon with the green-eyed librarian just because he wants to (and he loves him).

Okay I have been dying for this film and everything about this fill is gorgeous. The use of semi-colons and colons is awesome and you set the perfect mood and tone and AHHHHHH

If I could hug you through the computer screen I would. This fill is fan-frakkin-tastic and just perfect. I've seen you around the kink meme and you write the loveliest Loki/Steve fics ;____;

I hope you continue on to write more beautiful pieces like this! Sorry if I made you uncomfortable but I wanted to let you know how wonderful I think this whole fill is! Okay bye!
