Happy Brew Years!

Nate and I stayed at home this year and did a little homebrewing and baking.  We took some pictures of the brewing process (we're making a dry stout) and also of the bread I made from the spent grains used to make the wort for the beer.  I also made cardamom bread, which is a Scandinavian breakfast type bread...and it is GOOD!

hee hee!! It sure was a lot of fun...we're doing a Heffeweizen in the spring :)

I know you wish you could be a big nerd like us, but you are too busy being a Dad-nerd. Which is actually super cool all by itself! I'm a bit envious, mahself!

Hmmmm...is that another name for monkey bread? Where it's got a ton of cinnamon sugar and butter, and you pull it apart?

Oh! I just looked that up and discovered that the bread I made is pretty much the same recipe as "Pulla". I hadn't heard that name before :)
