Apart from the whole endurance-test aspect of it, I had a blast at the two MDFs that I attended, and reading this made me regret not going. I definitely would have stayed for Macabre, since they were one of the bands I wanted to see most. I heard that Repulsion canceled at the last minute, which is unfortunate because they are awesome. I didn't even go to the mini-MDF that was here last weekend because I didn't have anyone to go with and didn't want to hang out for eight hours by myself. Man, I'm a moron for missing Fuck I'm Dead, TDEBN, and Circle of Dead Children...
Oh, I definitely remember the rat girl. Crusties are very strange and I can see where you're coming from with your criticism of them. It seems a lot of people really want to fit in with a subculture and modify their look to fit it, but this subculture is a repugnant way of life. If you really want to fight against the system, you should do something about it, I mean actually work, not just grow dreads, drink cheap beer, and eat out of trash cans. That isn't

Yeah, not staying for Macabre is something I regret (and got called out on by relapsers haha) but Erin desperately wanted to drive back before it got too late. I didn't want to argue with her because she was driving and quite frankly I was burnt out myself. You should've definitely went to that show, all those bands (with the exception of CODC who I just didn't really like) were awesome. I did have a lot of fun but I think had we just arrived for friday instead of thursday it would've been WAY more awesome. Thursday was unbearably long for me, it made the rest of the weekend look so ridiculously long. Once you're at the fest though time goes by quicker, day two had so many good bands in a row that I didn't even feel time pass by. I still just hate the distance, if the fest happened any closer I would certainly go every year, even with mediocre bands.
i love how my name was droped like a billion times, but it wasn't really me :( harrr. glad you had a great time though. lets catch up, for real... soon. instead of me reading about your life on this damn thing. thankssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
