[The world was swimming around him as voices of people he knew from the Sidereal and from Demeleier spoke to him all at once. He'd met several of them lost in the woods. Rand, a priest from his world, had been chasing him through those trees for a long time. He'd met Med'an, Thereth, Kyoko, Sebastian, Shadow and even Hope while running from him.

[He's awake! She's relieved and somehow manages to put off her own questions so that she can answer his.]

Is Sebastian not there? [She knows he was taking care of him.] If he is not, I will help with that.

[North gives a tired smile, grabbing his red ribbon and tying it over his missing right eye. There, no scaring Zelda with his gaping socket.] He's here, I just didn't see him. [North stretched some and sank back down tiredly] He's trying to get me to say please though, can you believe that?

[She's seen worse things, but it's not like she's going to protest. She tries a smile and even a small chuckle, calming down after the initial rush of seeing him awake.] There's nothing wrong with being polite.

How are you feeling?

I woke up feeling tired, then I had a visitor that got me feeling like going back to sleep for a while. [He admitted. It just wasn't easy to keep anything from that angelic face.] Hey, did you use the book I gave you? [He changes the subject.]

I've been studying from it, but there hasn't been much need for it recently. [The change of subject is effective...except he knows it's only going to bring worse questions, right?]

How did you get it? Sebastian wouldn't answer when I asked him. [Which means she's not entirely confident she'll get an answer from North, but he should know at least that she's concerned.]

[North shrugged. He thought he could just lie and say he found it but, it seemed better not to say anything much. he couldn't tell her the truth, even though he was sure she'd never abuse his power. No, he just figured she'd try to protect him, but that wouldn't work if he really needed something.]

Does it matter where I got it? Point is I got it, right? [He feels a pang of pain from his forearms thinking about how he bled for that book. A wishes fate] I didn't make any deals with any fae if that's what you're worried about.

[She's not completely satisfied with the answer, but if he says he didn't make any deals like that, she'll trust him and let it go. Instead, she'll just focus on the happy.]
