River Canter-Burton

So I've been given the job of letting everyone know that River Canter-Burton was born tonight December 9th at 6:10pm.

He's healthy and she's healthy. We don't know the weight or length yet because they haven't taken him to be weighed and measured yet. But as soon as she finds out and tells me I will post it.

He's doing well. Jaundiced, but otherwise super healthy. Unfortunately the jaundice means he has to go and get blood draws every day and be wrapped up in a godawful phototherapy light blanket 24/7. At least I got him away from the hospital and out of that trebly godawful light box. *shudder* I'll definitely post more pics when he's done being yellow! And maybe some in the meantime.

I bet River's a cutie too. I wanna seeeeee ..

Oh oh oh. I don't know if Autumn has anyone checking her mail (snail mail) but I sent her this pot of goo that's sposed to be really good at healing any tears, swelling, bruising, etc. post-birth. It should be in her mailbox as we speak. Don't know how much she has by way of war wounds down there, but if you happen to talk to her, please let her know that should have arrived by now.

I know, I'm a horrible horrible person. The wireless connection in the hospital sucked balls. It took fifteen minutes of my very computer-savvy husband's finessing before I could even post what I did. :(

Right now I'm attached by the hip to a bilirubin light blanket, cause our poor little guy is all jaundiced. HOPEFULLY that won't be the case in a couple of days and I can actually be on the computer for more than 5 minutes at a stretch.

Thankies for the update! I've seriously been mashing the refresh button ever since you posted that River was out. :)
