Just had a week off work which I thoroughly enjoyed. I allowed myself two days to wind into it with a marathon sex in the city/l word session

Glad I'm not the only one spooked by that book - but just how damn good is The Historian?! Loved every minute of it. trying to get my mate to read it now, but she says if it scares me she'll have to *put it in the fridge*!

I think being able to amuse yourself is a healthy trait. I spend most of my time alone and rarely get bored. I wasn't an only child, I had a brother (I have two now) but we're both fairly self contained people and don't constantly need other people to entertain us.
Which is fortunate because you rarely get that. You have to live with just yourself at some point in your life don't you?

i sometimes struggle to push myself "out there" cos it really is easy to waste days indoors!!
