Doggies
Our silly spaniel has strained her back somehow, either from jumping or from slipping on ice. We're trying to keep her on one level and away from stairs, but preventing her from leaping onto the couch/rocking chair/bed is another matter altogether.

Music!
I spent the weekend downloading all my CDs to my laptop. Total as of this morning was 787 songs. I hadn't realized I had that many CDs that weren't on it already. I found some stuff I hadn't listened to in years, which was really good. I like The Wreckers, but I'd forgotten that I had their album. Nice country/folk duo which has since disbanded. I went to see my internist last month. Everything is fine, though he wants me to start tapering off one of my prescription meds. I dutifully start doing so, adjusting as necessary. I call in for a refill. He's apparently decided I can't have that med any more. At all. Along with my migraine meds, which is just ducky as I'm in mid-migraine. So much ( Read more... ) -
Power! And weekend report
We got our power back on Thursday night while shopping for dinner. We came home and voila, light! Everyone was relieved, including the dogs. However, I did notice that we all scattered to our electronics, where before we'd talked at mealtimes (not much else we could do ( Read more... )
