As this is year number 9 of Ocean Shores retreats I figured I would post our traditions for all new comers, and so I can stop answering "what do you do at Ocean Shores" questions.

(At the Camp site because we have learned our lesson about beach fires... right?)

God, I hope so.

Breakfast @ The Quinalt

Let's put in a reservation in advance this time. I don't relish the look on their faces when we attempt a walk-in for 25 people.

I suppose it's worth noting many of these "traditions" have always been subjective / altered by company. For instance as we've grown, we've split into multiple groups so not everyone is compelled to go gambling. We've similarly split the groups based on who wanted McD's (bleh!) Car rescues only happen if there is a car to be rescued at the time. Weddings only happen if someone is getting married, etc. *g* (Seriously though, I hope that drama is resolved; this is so much more convenient that imposing on us to buy airplane tickets and book harsher vacation time, etc ( ... )

Also, I think we flew kites sometimes. And hopefully puking on said kites WON'T become a tradition. Perhaps I'll spare throwing blame... *cough*auggGlenffdonnph*cough*

I thought it was more of a:
