One of the prices we pay when we recieve the gift of children is caring for them when they are sick. Apparently this was the weekend that the rent was due. Rowan was sent home on Thursday with a mild fever from daycare. I'm soo glad to hear she's doing better. So much for getting my news from my ever so brilliant husband. He told me KG had a fever; he did not tell me that it went up to 104.5. I didn't realize the poor baby girl was that sick :(

Honestly, I don't think he was aware of the severity. At daycare on thursday, it was only 101o and when we cancelled Saturday, we simply said that she was still sick and we didn't want to pass it along.

Kiddies always spike these crazy-high fevers when they get sick; there's so little to heat up. Then 24 hours later they're bouncing off the walls. Amazing stuff.
