I have ventured into many a fandom and escaped unscathed, but Avatar has sunk its little hooks into my Muse. I think my 'ship of Aang and Katara is deep enough to be an OTP, strangely enough. Go figure. And yet, Zuko is one of my favorite characters. From what little I've seen in the latest episodes, he somehow compliments/completes the group

Oh, and btw, Nick has announced that a DVD of new Avatar episodes (including Episodes 3.14 and 3.15) is available for pre-order and set for release on May 6th. Therefore, it's all but certain that those episodes will air before that time. Unfortunately, all inside intelligence suggests that those episodes won't air until mid-to-late April.

The Avatar fandom has died down a lot over the past month or so. It think it's because of the lack of any new information, episodes, or even significant spoilers. :( Alas. I'm more excited about the conclusion of Avatar than I was the conclusion of Harry Potter (because as much as I love Potter, Avatar is just better).

Lol, you know you want to encourage (and JOIN) Kataang... Really though, I have to admit I'm surprised that the cuteness/waff/awww factor of Kataang didn't suck you in. If I'd had to have guessed which pairing you'd ship, that would have been the one I picked for you. Hrm.

Honestly, I have yet to see enough Zuko/Katara interaction to even begin to imagine how those two would be paired. So, even if I was...open...to the idea, I don't know if I'd be able to dabble in it. :P

Re: Kataang vs. Zutara. It's strange; when it comes to my personal OTPs, I'm very fickle and don't follow any particular type. Usually I go with canon, but not always (I loved the idea of Padme/Obi-Wan even though it was a "never gonna happen" thing).

Maiko makes me queasy. ;) Don't like it. (Honestly, Kataang can be very cute and I won't grind my teeth if it becomes the final canon--unlike my probable reaction if Maiko sticks!) By the way, please don't take any of my shipping too seriously, as I certainly don't. I don't want to come off as too... rabid. And I promise I won't kick or throw shoes! XD (You know, I even wrote a fluffy, Maiko one-shot.)
