our house has successfully not turned on the heat yet, we're trying to go as long as we can. Too expensive, so i've got like 4 blankets on right now. Anyway, i realize i don't update as much as i used to, for that i'm sorry, well, more like indifferent.

a trick I learned from my depression era grandmother:
Take a brick or two and heat them up in the oven, wrap them with towels and take them to bed, put one by your feet, and one by your middle

it's gas, we got radiators, but it's like 500 bucks a month to heat this place in the winter
