sorry, the goal was to get it out of the apt last night. a friend from law school came and picked it up.

Whoever ends up with it, take good care of it - it's built like a bunker, but it's a GOOD TV that'll serve you well for a while to come.

You should be careful when you say flat screen. The Akai is a flat CRTube.

see, i thought i was distinguishing "flat screen" (the behemoth) from "flat panel" (what you have). i'm sorry if i caused confusion.
