On Monday I read this article in the YDN, in the special Bulldog Days section. It infuriated me. In response I wrote this letter to the editor. There were several other major points I wanted to make, but being limited to 300 words meant I had to censor myself somewhat ... maybe later tonight I'll elaborate more.

I try to restrain myself personally to one complaint to the "N" a year. (Strangely, they've started publishing em since I graduated.) It can be hard, and I actually wrote an approximately weekly newsletter to my friends bashing the haul in the "N" for nearly a year out of college before I got it out of my system. Guess the typical Group IV major actually has to do work and thus doesn't have time to contribute a more balanced perspective to the "N".
