I've been at my summer internship for only a week now, and I have very rapidly come to the realization that I don't belong here. The company designs stormwater filtration systems, and I came into the job thinking it would involve a lot of fluid mechanics, design engineering, and so on. This has not been the case. Oh yeah. I'm at IBM. I hear you on the corporatosity annoyingness.

But there are things IBM'll teach me that Google didn't.

after 2 weeks at ibm:
1 awesome laptop bag
1 fake nalgene
1 awesome notebook
0 shirts

after 2 weeks at google:
1 beach towel
3 or 4 shirts
1 nalgene
1 noogler hat
some other stuff

google gives more schwag, but that's not why I'm here

Yeah, I left the state, but I wanted to see you (and I'm unemployable in Maine!)
