Random yay

So yesterday morning I was outside at about 8am trying to fix my bike basket back onto my bike. It used to be tied on with little plastic zip ties but I've been losing them one by one until I had just one left, at which point I had to tie the other corners on with string since there are no more zip ties to be had in the house. Totally sweet! I love the use of the word 'love', too...I might swoon if it were ever used on me by someone with a British accent. You think I'm joking, don't you? I'm not. ;-)

Yes, random acts of kindness are great, and the casual use of endearments! It's good that people are still nice and helpful to people they don't know, there's a bit more of that old sense of community to life.
