One of the people on my f-list introduced me to this, and I couldn't help but get started right away... Kiva.com

What did I do? I contributed to microloan for a man in Kenya. Microloan---loans as small as a car payment here in the western world, sometimes as much as 1500 dollars. This particular loan is for a total of $150. I've gotten the ball ( Read more... )

I am getting a little misty eyed here. Thank you so much! I'd like to pretend I'm premenstrual or something, but I think I have this tiny little hidden part of myself that really loves doing things for other people.

I followed the link to find that the loan has already been raised.

I will find a different person/business to lend money to.

I guess I am now an RN and International Financier.

My portfolio consists of investments in two continents and diversified between the agricultural and retail sectors.
