Thanks so much for commenting. I can't tell you how much I appreciate the thoughtfulness of it. It is a ridiculously short fic, there's no reason why you couldn't do your own take on it, though. :)

I have no problem pimping myself out. ;) I'll try and get around to posting to that site later.

I probably will write it some time. I wrote about Neville's feelings a bit in a story I wrote called "Firewhiskey with Great-uncle Algie." That worked well. I don't think I'd ever write it from Moody's perspective because I think you nailed it here and anything I'd do would be redundant.

Have you thought of publishing this on the first_order lj site. It would be perfect for it. I don't know how much effort you want to put into posting around.
