Forgiveness.

It's good that you can extend forgiveness. Some people keep their hearts hardened towards others for a very long time...

But what, exactly, makes it hard? The other person? Your own feelings?

That's true. Forgiveness is an action that applies when you've taken all the factors into account.

Which is why it can be easy or hard to give. [To pry or not to pry.] Particularly...when their deed affected you.

Of course. To forgive as a bystander is quite different than forgiving as the one the deed was done to.
