So I got to CBC today, thanks to Mom (who had to drop off her timecard before she went to work), and started grilling my brain in hopes of being able to answer at least three of the 5 possible essays for my American lit midterm

Yikes...that would be the midterm from hell. I remember I got an 83 on my lit midterm and I was super happy.

My guess is, that your nose ran blood because you're asian. But, because you are not Japanese your nose must not run because of naughty thoughts, but because you're Chinese it forces you to run while taking tests. My theory >^.^< Much loves and hopes that your test came out on top dear! *hehe on top*
