Hideo Kojima has fucking lost it. In the new PSP Metal Gear, he's introducing Vocaloid technology worldwide. In the game. What this means, basically: Users can submit "lyrics", any words they want, to a server. The server will then use the Vocaloid software and similarly submitted melodies in game for boss battles. Vocaloid sounds nothing like microsoft sam. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't make this news any less fucking weird, and even the best vocaloid stuff still doesn't sound 100% human, but that's not really an accurate comparison.
