So - yeah, I haven't posted anything in over a year. I got into my core studies at school and then trained my butt off for a promotion I didn't get at my job - which I quit. I'm now unemployed and have a little free time, so I'm making an honest attempt to reconnect with some of my LJ Slayers buddies. (Which is ironic because I've been on an Avatar ( Read more... )

It's good to hear from you! I was wondering what had happened to you. I hate that you're unemployed, but it sounds like you're doing well. ^_^

^___^ Thanks! At least I'm unemployed by choice, but that might come back to haunt me after graduation. For now, I'm kind of happy to have the time to waste on my fandom obsessions again. =)

Did you have a good year? I saw in my feed that you moved. It's sounds like you're happy with it too.

I did have a good year! I also married gigabahamut666 back in March after he was given to me as a present for my birthday. It was awesome and we're very happy. He's still in the UK finishing school.

X) I've killed so much time with Avatar, it's not even funny. But it feels awesome to have free time to do the things that I want to instead of coming straight home from a ten hour day only to bury my nose in books. I'm going to live off my savings until I get past my core studies at least. Hopefully, the job market will open in that time.
