I tried to post these on my Instagram, but the software is bucking me. Not sure why.

So here! Rumble AND Razor playing agility at the arena. Razor had SUCH a good time, but man... I keep forgetting how MUCH turning cues he needs and how EARLY they need to be! (click on the image and it will transfer you to flickr to watch the vids.

Do you have your camera on a pole? At the the trial this last weekend I saw someone had their phone on a stand connected to a tall spike (probably an umbrella stand) to do trial video. I may see if I can work out something like that. I hate trying to find someone not running a dog close to mine who will video. Usually I can, but I don't like the process.

I did wedge my phone onto a piece of pipe used to store jump wings in the barn. It's high enough that you can get some aspect, but I can't get the whole barn (as you can see by missing Rumble jumping the first backside after the c-shaped tunnel. I turn my phone's camera onto panorama looking through the face of the camera and that seems to help me figure out where to point it. Then, of course, I have to run over and turn it off. I just edit out all the walking back and forth (unless there's something funny in there). It DOES help to have a trial buddy (or wife!) to take trial film. Not that helpful if you're in the same height class (like we are for AKC). But once in a while I get a good one.

And you have to find someone who's not working the class, too.

The change in the pitch of Razor's bark between working and watching is funny. Looks like you had some sun? The boys looks good!

That's not Razor! All that barking you hear when Raze is running is angry Rumble in a crate. I listened very carefully and I think Razor barks like TWICE the whole time he's running. He does some grunting and a few whines, but basically he was silent (take THAT Dawn!)

what? WHAT? what? (that's me making jokes about your barking dogs, because I must always, it's our thing;) but seriously Razor is so effing cute, I love when dogs are this age, every thing they do is cute, well almost everything, all the quiet things :-P

He was quiet! (while he ran anyway)

Isn't he cute tho?? He had no idea what I was asking him to do, but he just keeps plugging along. I thought it would make him tired, but NO! he came home, took a tiny nap, then was throwing balls at me the whole rest of the night. Sigh.

Haha I do love Razor video, didn't realise how much I had missed it. I know what you mean about having to turn them so early , I ran Pan over some jumps the other day and she is such a bus. It's like trying to turn a barge. Old dogs are the best

This is MY FIRST dog of an "advanced age" I love it (and him!) Blaze was a great example of how awesome old dogs can be. Razor is no Blaze, but he's very fun.
