Also I'm growing a lot of my own stuff in the yard here which I've never done before and it is pretty amazing, I just go and stare at the baby plants all the time.
Well I did I was pretty sure, but suggested seedling professional consultation;)
I would say without a doubt my veggie intake and adventuring into new veggie horizons greatly expands each year as I grow more stuff. They even have studied and found getting kids involved in school gardens increases their veggie eating because it's fun to try what you made grow.
Also, the cheapskate inside me (not well hidden) will probably like eating all these things that are "free" (ya know, besides what I paid for seed, and the hours of work I put in..) even if I'm not the biggest fan of whatever veggie. I do love spinach, and lettuce. But the kale is for Heidi and Tammy.
