So what I wasn't so mad about was the ending. I agree with everyone who's already said that the timing was off. With the leaving right away as well. These are his people, this is his lab and he's sodding off to London, without waiting to find out if Adam and Danny are intact physically, let alon psychologically? Marked contrast to the close of last season which had him sitting by Flack's bed.
Speaking of beds. Or pool tables. Danny and Lindsay were actually kind of cute. And he poked her in the nose, which was all kinds of awesome. That said we've got another Lindsay in this ep - where did sexy, pool-hustling, awesome-boot-wearing Lindsay come from? More importantly where did she go and can we have her back next season? Or one of the others? I'm not picky. Also, is it me or has Aidan's stylist been doing Lindsay's hair recently?
Is it odd that after being subject to a very high profile investigation that Mac gets custody of huge amounts of drugs worth lots and lots of money from another very high profile bust?
Oh Adam!
I have mad love for Hawkes this episode. Putting a gas mask on and finishing up (is it me or is that the kind of thing that Sid would do as well, if he even noticed the gas to begin with?). Sending internal messages. Being totally unfazed by the dead body in his elevator. With a note on it. Being all awesome with the saw. And then the gun. Ripping Adam's ID off the guy (Oh Adam!). And then being awesome some more while wearing a really good shirt... He kinda wins.
Peyton drinks tea! Like Giles!
I'm choosing to see Danny using his badge to support his broken fingers as being totally symbolic. I have total love for scrappy, smartass, smart Danny. You get the impression that that's at his core that's who he is. Also "I'm going to need you to go get it"? Snerk
Oh Flack, don't ever change!
Mac and Stella being completely in tune while everyone else stands (or sits) around having no clue what they're doing? In my head this happens a lot.
There ought to be more stripping on CSI New York... by yourself or with friends, whichever is fine. Hello Mac's neck. And chest. And arms. Hi.
Peyton. Peyton Peyton. What was that? I like you. I do. It's not your fault that Mac's slowly losing it. But your boyfriend is in a building with lots of armed gunmen. The police have just stormed in so clearly it's not a gas leak. Is now the best time to be trying to ring him? I'm just saying. Or the longest post ever.
