Hey,

If you can (probably next school year) try getting into a Mass Comm class taught by Levina. It's 190 section 1 this semester, but the number might change next semester. The title is "Television Studies." She teaches other Mass Comm classes, but it's this one that is cool. Anyway, I'm informing you about this class because she's a huge Buffy fan and spends like a week talking about Buffy as a class topic (when she covers shows with cult-like following). Battlestar Galactica is in there too. Anyway, it's a cool class. I don't think there is room left this semester (try talking to her anyway if you really want to get in this semester), but definitely try the next time she's teaching it. Other shows discussed are reality tv shows, Simpsons, South Park, Sex and the City, etc.

Just a suggestion. Good luck this semester! Hope to see you around campus or randomly in Oakland again. haha.
