I'm writing this from a cozy little non-Starbucks coffee shop in what will be my new neighborhood. I move in on Saturday and am bunking at an EconoLodge until then. Dude, I can't believe I live here. Hooray! I am so glad you made it, and that you have an apartment already! Now you have time to whale watch from the park and go to the top of the space needle!

That's awesome! Congratulations! I've only been to Seattle once for work, but I loved it. And it's awesome you'll be able to use mass transit most of the time.

There's an Underground Seattle (http://www.undergroundtour.com/) tour where you go through tunnels and stuff that sounded really cool, but I didn't have enough time to see it.

There's the Space Needle which is cool and the Science Fiction museum if that's your thing (it's pretty small).
