Aww... This is my Thor and Tony he needs a hug, I totally agree on the shield brothers thing. *hugs for huggles*
I still love Stracynzski's thor min you, I just thought the meet-up was unnecessary in teh way it went down, another tick to the everyone is unreasonably angry with Tony. Thor would have been pissed with the abomination sure but he would have talked first. The fight would have only occurred if the answer wasn
t satisfactory, but that fight was too sudden and all "we're heroes, we've met up, you thought I was dead. I know let me beat the crap out of you"

This is awesome... write mores pretty please? ^___^

Yeah, Marvel pretty much degenerates everything into two options: they're not going to fight because one/both has a secret agenda, or they're going to beat the crap out of each other. Those are your only two options.

I plan to write more in the future. ^_^ Thank you for commenting!

I completely agree with what you're saying concerning how Tony is holding up in canon. I don't know what the writers are thinking or if they understand what a human can take psychologically let alone TONY'S psychological state. It's like they decided to ignore anything in his history that would be relevant to how his TRUE character would survive if placed in a world where no one loved you and wanted to destroy you or at least make you suffer. And when they finally get a person who is supposed to be above the pettiness of humanity, a "god" like Thor who has had so many years and experiences to understadn what's truly important in life and they ignore that aspect of HIS personality ( ... )

The subject of mental health is a bit of a thing with me, because I can do the whole 'suspension of disbelief' thing pretty well, but this is pretty much where I draw the line. I know how easy it is for a person already prone to depression to hit rock bottom, and Tony is beyond that ( ... )

I'd been waiting to comment on this until I could produce something coherent (you know, other than "Waaah, poor Tony! I love Thor!").

I love Thor's wish that he could have included Steve among the Einherjar, and his comparison of Tony's roll in the creation of Clor to Loki -- showing just how much he really does think of Tony and Steve as brothers, since Loki was also a trusted family member before his sudden-yet-inevitable betrayal.

"Thor," Tony rasps. "You're-god, you're here." He raises one hand to his own face, taking a shaky breath. "Thor, I know-damnit, I-" He bows his head and buries his fingers in his hair, tugging the dull black strands once before dropping his hands back down to his sides and raising his head. "Say it. It's-I should have known to wait until you-until you got the chance to confront me on this, before I ended-before I-" Tony cuts himself off abruptly, swaying lightly on his feet and shaking his head once as if to deny what he had clearly not meant to say. This part really got me, because I was so afraid that ( ... )

I adore Thor. I figured if anyone was going to come through for Tony, it'd have to be Thor. Since Marvel is so far denying us this, it sort of makes sense that no one else has come through for Tony, either. If Thor won't, then who?

Dear Marvel: It is possible to be absolutely, monumentally, unbelievably angry with someone and still care about them and want what's best for them and not want to see them hurt. It actually is. Even for Tony. I promise.

I love Thor's wish that he could have included Steve among the Einherjar

It is my personal belief that Steve is hanging out with the Einherjar in Valhalla. Possibly dealing with good-natured ribbing from the other dead warriors because he's going to be brought back to life soon, and therefore will miss Ragnarok. The poor thing.

This part really got me, because I was so afraid that Tony had already done something to himself and that Thor was too lateI actually really considered doing that -- have Thor arrive while Tony's still alive, but Tony's already programmed the Extremis ( ... )

Thank godness SOMEone hugged him. This fic made my heart hurt, but in a hopeful way. With Thor there, I feel Tony is in good hands. Sadly this didn't ACTUALLY happen, but I've put it in my personal exists-in-my-head-cannon.

Oh my goodness. This was... Oh Tony.
I've kind of got tears running down my face currently.

But this was beautifully written. Seriously. This was gorgeous and perfect and Tony just needs someone. And Thor. Thor would be perfect. He'd give such GOOD hugs.

Thor, Steve, and Tony are my favourites, but Tony's always had a sort of special place in my heart. Poor baby blames himself for everything. And Thor allowing himself to be the rock to which Tony can cling for now is good.

Really well-written. Thanks. :)
