Oh God, I didn't even notice the message on the back cover image until the second time I looked at it *chokes with warped amusement*
The drabbles used instead of song descriptions are really effective - Tony is such a mess in Marvel canon right now that it kind of hurts to read, and they're all much too plausible as examples of his thoughts/feelings.
Ah, Evanescence, I have loved you since my junior year of college, when My Immortal was my Remus/Sirius song (someday, I'll finish and post up my Steve/Tony songmix, and when I do, I'll also post my secret guilty songmix that consists entirely of Staind, Evanescence, and Three Days Grace).
(loving, but not downloading because depressing Civil War, Steve, and Tony/guilt music has been banned from my household -- it was months before I was allowed to put "American Soldier" back on the iPod car music playlist, and that one's a happy Steve song)
Like I said: sick sense of humour. *g* I'm working on a happy one, though!
I always feel like it's a gamble when I write something to do with suicide, because it's such a touchy subject in the sense of getting the thoughts and feelings right. I'm glad that the drabbles were effective, though. I started out doing descriptions and they sort of turned into those along the way. :3
I very much look forward to those mixes. =D
Haha, I can definitely understand that. I avoided Linkin Park's In the End. Actually, I still do. It makes me sad. D:

Aw, Steve'll come back soon. ...The real Steve, that is. Really. He's Captain America, you can't keep him down for long.
