I love this. Bedside vigils are totally one of my secret kinks (or maybe not so secret, after the amount of time we dedicated to them in the fear toxin fic), and bedside vigils from the.
I especially like the italicised bit at the beginning, with Steve's words -- both angry and pleading -- and the fact that Tony's so completely blase about waking up at the hospital, once he's assured himself that he managed to take out Titanium Man before he passed out. Sure, he's hurt, but at least he lived up to his responsibilities and finished the job.
The warmth of Steve's hand is comforting, and, against all logic, feels like it eases the ache in the rest of Tony's body. And it lets him pretend, at least for a minute, that Steve wouldn't do this for just anyone. Aawww, Tony. I love this bit, with Tony taking comfort just from the touch of Steve's hand while still thinking that Steve is only watching over him out of duty/general friendship/because he's a good person. Boy, I'm feeling stupid now. I've always suspected that Stark/Rogers might have been canon for years now... and wow, people agree with me! And are writing wondrous fic!
Apologies for commenting here, but are you aware if the SmoAce site Blurry will be back anytime soon, if ever?
Apart from that, a couple (that I know of) of your SmoAce fics are missing from your fic list; are 'The Fall' or 'Fragments of a Photograph' archived anywhere other than Blurry? Due to requests for it, I've posted the latter on my own lj with credit given until it's re-archived, although I'll take it down if you'd rather not have it there.
Again, apologies for posting here - I thought the recent post on your fic-journal would be the best place for this. Thank you.
Not a problem. Hey, it makes perfect sense that you'd comment here; it's what I would have done. Sorry for not responding to this comment sooner, by the way. I dropped off the face of the earth for a good six months, and it's only been a few weeks since I resurfaced.
I've actually not been in the One Piece fandom for quite a bit (with the sole exception being Splinters) and so Blurry was neglected. This is the first I've heard of it being gone; I regret that it's no longer there, but unfortunately, I'm afraid I've no access to it or any of its files, as I'm not the webmaster of Dhak. Otherwise, I'd offer it to someone else. I apologize for that.
Although if you can contact the webmaster, you can ask her if she has the files. If she does, you, or anyone else, are more than welcome to resurrect it.
I don't mind you hosting the fic, although if you'd prefer, you could link to the original ones I posted at onepieceyaoi. And although I don't actually have Fragments of a Photograph myself (which is odd, because I never delete anything I've written,

Thank you! I'll keep your fic up at my journal if that's okay, and just link your updated fanfic index in the smokerxace community to let everyone know the fics are now there.
As for Blurry, I have no idea who the webmaster is - I believe quite a few people were under the impression you were the webmaster, so I guess that's that idea down the drain. Oh, well.
Thank you, again, though - there's a lot of people who still love re-reading your fics, so it'll be great to not have to search through. I'll cling to the tiny pin-prick of hope you may one day be dragged screaming back into the fandom, and keep up with your other fics instead. ^o^
I'm actually shocked this didn't cause an awww fest. I expected to be like the billionth person to say it not just the third or fourth. They've gotta be thinking it just embarrassed.
