You're at Mayfield's hospital today. Why? Maybe you work there, maybe you stubbed your toe or are getting your vaccines up to date. Whatever the case, you are being attended to by the most miserable candystriper in town

[Exploring town, a skinny, short-haired girl makes her way past the hospital, still in the clothes she found in her room - green dress and penny loafers, with a baton tucked in her belt.
Arya looks up at the hospital's sign in slight confusion, unconsciously mouthing the unfamiliar word. Her glaze flicks over the girl sitting on the curb in front briefly. She was wearing pants. How come she got to wear pants?]
[ Warren comes upon the scene and gives a mighty roll of his eyes. He barks some nonsense at the nurse about being needed somewhere or other for something. She scurries off to do as she's told, and Warren turns to Barton ]
Don't argue with the drones, unless you want to end up as one.
[Chie was on a run--it's part of her training, part of her familiarizing herself with the town. Barton's expressionless face kind of stands out, though. Definitely not a drone. She thinks.]
They call it a "candy striper" cuz of this god-awful uniform, I guess. It's a hospital volunteer. So I don't even get paid. But if I don't do it, I'll get droned.
[ Souji is leading a small group of droned children through the hospital. They are all wearing "VISITOR" stickers. He is wearing a boy scout uniform, explaining how if you have a "big ouchie" you come here and the doctor will take care of you. ]
[Souji and the scouts come across Barton arguing with the nurse. She shuts up when she notices a crowd of kids watching. She gives Souji a confused look.]

This lady is a candystriper. She volunteers her time at the hospital.
[ The children 'ooh' and 'ahh' in a harmonious choir. ]

[She looks them over, frowning slightly. She doesn't exactly like being a spectacle.]
So is this the job you were given, or did you get to pick it?
