Body and Appearance
1. Describe the character's height and build. Is she heavyset, thin, short, rangy? Barton is short, but solid. She's well muscled from all her physical training and fighting.
2. How old is she? 15, though she tends to come off a bit older thanks to hard living. She's also technically 50, and her attitude reflects it.
3. Describe her posture. Does she carry herself well or does she slouch? She carries her self well, in a much more masculine manner than her small frame suggests.
4. How is her health? Is she fit or out of shape? Any illnesses or conditions? Any physical disabilities? She's covered in unhealing scrapes and bruises, but they barely bother her as she's had them for 35 years. Other than that, her soulless status keeps her from getting ill further.
5. How does she move? Is she clumsy, graceful, tense, fluid? Very fluidly, a natural fighter.
6. How attractive is this character physically? How does she perceive herself in the mirror? She cleans up well, but that almost never happens.
7. Describe her complexion. Dark, light, clear, scarred? Scarred, scraped and bruised; tan from living outside (previous to the loss of her soul).
8. Describe her hair: color, texture, style. Dark brown, messy and uncared for. It's chopped short and has not grown since her soul was taken.
9. What color are her eyes? Dark green.

12. What is the character's wardrobe like? Casual, dressy, utilitarian? Bright colors, pastels, neutrals? Is it varied, or does she have six of the same suit? Whatever she can get her hands on. It's almost always oversized men's clothes.
13. Do her clothes fit well? Does she seem comfortable in them? She's definitely more at home in guys clothes.
14. Does she dress the same on the job as she does in her free time? If not, what are the differences? What job? :V

Speech
1. What does this character's voice sound like? High-pitched, deep, hoarse? It's on the low side.
2. How does she normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does she talk easily, or does she hesitate? She's a girl of few words, but she's a clear speaker.
3. Does the character have a distinct accent or dialect? Any individual quirks of pronunciation? Any, like, you know, verbal tics? Her accent is a bit Midwestern-y.
4. What language/s does she speak, and with how much fluency? Just English.
5. Does she switch languages or dialects in certain situations? Nope.
6. Is she a good impromptu speaker, or does she have to think about her words? It depends on the subject. If she's yelling at you, be sure she will make her point clear easily!
7. Is she eloquent or inarticulate? Under what circumstances might this change? Somewhere in the middle. If asked to speak in front of a large crowd, she might hesitate... unless she was rallying them for a fight, I think.
Mental and Emotional
1. How intelligent is this character? Is she book-smart or street-smart? She's actually fairly quick-witted, and very street smart. She has zero book smarts, being that she was never really educated.
2. Does she think on her feet, or does she need time to deliberate? She thinks best when the pressure's on.
3. Describe the character's thought process. Is she more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? Intuitive for sure, logic tends to take a back seat. It's not our of the question though - practicality will take over sometimes, and she'll sit back to think things through.
4. What kind of education has the character had? None. She can read a little thanks to her mother, and her family taught her things like cooking, mending her clothes, some carpentry... but no formal education to speak of.
5. What are her areas of expertise? What, if anything, is she interested in learning more about? Fighting! Even though she's totally undisciplined, she's good at all-out brawling. She's also fairly good at building things, a skill that uses for odd jobs during her travels.
6. Is she an introvert or an extrovert? Extrovert. She is not afraid of people.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is she even-tempered or does she have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? MOOD SWINGS HELLO. She's got a nasty temper, and her mood usually shifts from :| to >:C. She's definitely driven and is not prone to sitting still or relaxing.
8. How does she respond to new people or situations? Is she suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Barton will always try to asses new people, and not always internally. She tends to give them a hard time, to see what they're made of. But she's not afraid of them.
9. Is she more likely to act, or to react? Act.
10. Which is her default: fight or flight? FIGHTO
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does she appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? WHAT IS HUMOR AND JOKES. She really has the worst sense of humor. She's too serious and will not see why something is funny.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does she deal with them? Her psychic powers/soullessness are starting to make her delusional. Thankfully, in Mayfield, she will be back to normal for a bit.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined her as a person? Coming into her magic powers; finally coming forth and telling her family about it; her soul being stolen, obviously, and the resulting brouhaha; finding out that all the leads she had on Aries were falsely planted by his cohorts
14. What does she fear? At this point, completely losing her mind/sense of self. It's why she works so hard to find Aries.
15. What are her hopes or aspirations? If someone asked her what those were beyond getting her revenge and her soul back, she probably couldn't answer. Fanatic dedication to this cause over several decades has destroyed everything else in her life.
16. What is something she doesn't want anyone to find out about her? How she's starting to lose her mind. :\
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with her parents. Li'l Janie was the only daughter and the youngest child, so she was doted on a lot. But she was never treated differently than all of her older brothers.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? She was fairly close with her brothers, but mostly with her eldest brother, Andy.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom she is close? Are there ones she can't stand? She has some cousins that lived in the same town back home, but most were a bit younger than her. She usually got along better with the boys.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom she considers part of her family? What are her relationships with them? Thanks to her situation, Barton has no long-lasting friends. :(

7. Does she make friends easily, or does she have trouble getting along with people? She tends to have a hard time, being a bad-tempered bully. She'd like to have some stable friends, sure, but she's a bit of a lone wolf sort anyway.
8. Which does she consider more important: family or friends? Family. Blood is thicker than water.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has she been married more than once? Single forever >_>
10. Is she currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? n/a
11. Who was her first crush? Who is her latest? Back when her life was still relatively normal, she had a crush on a boy in her town, but you'd never have known. Hell, she probably didn't realize it either.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does she fit type? She's a Cancer, and a Monkey. She is pretty much the worst Monkey ever. She's an okay Cancer I guess.
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in her life? She's never been the religious type, though her family was.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? Despite her violent temper, she's no master criminal. She breaks laws all the time, but usually out of necessity for stealing food and clothes and the like. And yeah, she beats up dudes a lot.
4. How does she regard beliefs that differ from hers? Is she tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? She couldn't give a goddamn what your religious beliefs are.
5. What prejudices does she hold? Are they irrational or does she have a good reason for them? All people have the potential to be a pain in her ass. 8|
Daily Life
1. What is the character's financial situation? Is she rich, poor, comfortable, in debt? DIRT POOR STREET URCHIN FOR 35 YEARS. Yeah.
2. What is her social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected her? See above. Moving into Mayfield what with it's beds and homes and things will blow her little mind. Oh, and that she can eat again in a place plentiful with food will also amaze her.
3. Where does she live? House, apartment, trailer? Is her home her castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does she share it with others? ON the road. In the woods. If she gets a temporary job somewhere that allows her crash space/motel money, there's that.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does she spend her money on? She can't even fathom spending money.
5. What does she do for a living? Is she good at it? Does she enjoy it, or would she rather be doing something else? She picks up odd jobs on the road, posing as a boy, usually carpentry-related, but she knows how to work in a mine, too. Aren't the other workers always surprised at how strong the little guy is! :V
6. What are her interests or hobbies? How does she spend her free time? The outdoors, fightin'/trainin', animals, building things, REVENGE.
7. What are her eating habits? Does she skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? Soulless don't eat. :V
