I would just like to point out that I only fell twice. And I usually fall a lot. I guess that my skills are superior to yours. Or I'm just a lucky crapper and took it really slow so I wouldn't fall. Yeah. I don't think I'm gonna do that any more. I'm gonna pick up the pace, even if I do fall. I don't care anymore.
it isnt worth going slow just not to fall. What you should try and work to is skiing fast AND not falling... i seemed to have trouble with that last race. ALTHOUGH, the only times i fell were when my skis slipped on ice. You should just focus on is getting comfortable on skis, and going a little faster. We just need to get on our skis more during practice. Thats the only way to get better.
Every time you fall, you learn something. There's no easy way to get good at skiing (no matter which kind). The only way is to make mistakes, fall, and through your mistakes become a better skier.
Yup. That's what I worked on today in practice. Actually picking up the pace. I wanted to get comfortable on skis, and learn how to not fall going slow, before I tried learning how to not fall going fast. I'm making good progress and I'm happy. Except... That wer're pretty much done with skate now. And classic is starting. So its almost like shoots and ladders going back to the begining again.
