Fun with hair

So little while ago I dyed one third of my hair the usual red/pink/purple ("every shower an adventure"). My plan worked, and when I braided it, one strand was pink. So, the other day I tried to make another strand a different color. I used some leftover blue that hadn't been very dramatic, and so it isn't very dramatic, but it kind of did work.

When I was 7, I wanted to learn to braid. I practiced with three strands of string, and then started in on my hair. I got really good by age 10 at two braids. Took much longer to get the trick of doing it behind my head for one braid, but at some point I decided two braids was too "kidlike" and made an effort. Even now, I screw up occasionally and get my hands kinna twisted in the hair and have to abandon it after only a few twists, so I have a really short braid with a really long tail.
